Best Shoes for the Job (Draft Horses):
Kerckhaert Draft 28x12 Clipped

Not all Draft horses working on farms require shoes, but when the rate of wear surpasses the rate of hoof growth, or when terrain is too harsh Kerckhaert provides the farrier with several shoe options. The Kerckhaert Draft Series is offered in a 28x10 Clipped and Unclipped version and in a 32x12 Clipped version. The strong toe clips remove some stress from the horseshoe nails and help to prevent the shoe from being driven backwards when the horse pulls forward through fields. If additional traction is needed, studs or Borium can be applied to the shoe.
